Frequently asked questions

We’re sorry to borrow the age old answer to this question. But, ‘When it’s done’.

We’re hoping to have it released to the public by Q3 of this year but it will depend largely on how the last few phases of testing go!

Sure!

Besiege’s multiplayer mode is a powerful sandbox platform, which has many tools to create all kinds of game modes, missions and levels! We’ll be making a number of guides to help you get what you want out of the new editor leading up to and after release of the update.

At the moment the player cap is set to 8.

In theory the game could run many more but we haven’t tested this yet and you’d need a very powerful host to deal with all the blocks people’s machines use!

Anyone! Any owner of Besiege can click a couple of buttons and be hosting their own multiplayer game for their friends! We recommend however,  that the person with the best computer (Specifically the best processor) be the one that hosts the game.
